House CH/ completed
This total transformation of an apartment in Amsterdam North shows the possibilities of creating a spacious living even within a limited surface area. the project highlights the importance of using natural daylight when creating spaces: through strategic placement of ‘room dividers’, the new space is bathed in light, year around.
In order to be able to use the limited space optimally, the apartment is accessed via a double thick wall in which kitchen, cupboard and storage space are accommodated. this setup gives the possibility to keep the rest of the house free of barriers.
